Breed grooming guide
Cavapoo grooming
Cavapoos combine the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's gentle nature with the Poodle's low-shedding coat. They're small and sweet-natured, and their fine coats need steady, regular care.
The coat
Understanding the Cavapoo coat
Cavapoo coats are often finer than a Cockapoo's, which makes them prone to tangles around the ears, face and feet. Tear staining around the eyes is common too.
- Coat type
- Soft, wavy to curly, low-shedding
- How often
- Every 4 to 6 weeks
- We recommend
- Full Groom

Caring for your Cavapoo at home
- 01
Comb the ears and face daily. These are the first places to tangle.
- 02
Wipe around the eyes daily to help with tear staining. A Blueberry Facial at each groom helps too.
