A puppy's first experiences of grooming shape how they feel about it for life. In a quiet, private studio with no other dogs, Ella introduces the bath, dryer and table slowly and kindly.
How it works

After vaccinations
Puppies can visit once their vaccinations are complete. Earlier is better: the sooner grooming feels normal, the easier it is for life.
- 02
Short and positive
A first visit is kept short, with plenty of reassurance. The aim is a happy puppy, not a perfect haircut.
- 03
Bath, dry and tidy
A gentle wash, getting used to the dryer, then a tidy of the face, feet and hygiene areas, plus a nail trim.
- 04
Building up
Over the next few visits, as the adult coat comes through, your puppy moves on to a full groom at their own pace.

Puppy prices
First visits are usually booked as a Shampoo, Bath & Tidy, priced by size. Once your puppy is ready for a full haircut, it's a Full Groom from £33.
